Unloading
On the third Thursday of each month, a trailer heads north to Feed America First in Murfreesboro, TN. The trailer arrives to the old Sharp Motor building on N. 2nd St. at 1:00 PM. We need volunteers to help unload the food from the trailer.
Packing
Every third Thursday of the month, RFD volunteers get together in the old Sharp Motor Building to sort and individually pack every box. The packing begins at 6:00 PM and usually lasts an hour.
Distributing
Every dollar donated leads to this moment. On the Saturday morning following the packing, RFD volunteers show up to the designated location and distribute all of the boxes and food purchased for that month.
Bread Ministry
RFD volunteers travel to Tullahoma weekly, typically on Friday, to pick up bread and bread items. These items are distributed during our monthly distribution. In addition, they bread is provided to our local school backpack programs, The Pouring Spot, Pulaski Boys and Girls Club, Giles County Senior Center, God’s Storehouse, Pulaski Help Center, New Canaan Ranch, Matthew 25, and other distribution partners.
